Tri-County Pulmonary & MultiSpecialty group has been devoted to the study and treatment of diseases of the respiratory system; treating pneumonia, bronchitis, emphysema, asthma, cancer and other disorders of the lungs and respiratory system since 1999. MultiSpecialty also includes Internal Medicine which is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect internal organs or the body as a whole.

Pulmonary Medicine

Tri-County Pulmonary & MultiSpecialty Group, P.A. was founded in 1999 by Marivic Villa, M.D., F.C.C.P. Dr. Villa is a Doctor of Medicine, Board Certified in Pulmonary Diseases and Certified in Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Villa graduated from The University of the East, Quezon City, Philippines, 1986. She interned at the Bronx- Lebanon Hospital Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NYC, 1990. She completed her residency at St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center, Paterson, NJ, 1992 and a Fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases & Critical Care Medicine at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, 1997.

Dr. Villa practices Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine. She has practiced medicine in New Jersey, Texas, and Louisiana. She recently opened the TCPM Sleep Disorders Center which specializes in sleep studies and diagnosis of sleep-related disorders.

Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine is a broad-based medical field in which physicians rely on their knowledge of major organs to diagnose and treat patients. Janmejay Shaktawat, M.D. treats a variety of afflictions, from colds and heart problems to infectious diseases. Internists often serve as a patient's primary doctor, coordinating all the patient's health care.

Dr. 'J' joined the Tri-County Group in 2004. Dr. Shaktawat is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is a member of American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Shaktawat received a Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from SMS Medical College, University of Rajastan, India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mckeesport Hospital/University of Pittsburgh. He was also Chief resident and Junior Faculty, Internal Medicine, Mckeesport Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA, 2003.

Dr. Shaktawat has privileges with the Leesburg Regional Center and The Villages Regional Hospital.
